I really liked the text-on-photo editor — the result turned out to be an absolute masterpiece.
HEIC to JPG Converter
Turn iPhone photos into ordinary JPG files that open anywhere — on Windows, on Android, in any editor or document. Files are decoded right in your browser and are never uploaded.
Free and with no limit on the number of files. Nothing is uploaded to a server. The JPG is often heavier than the source — JPEG is simply a less efficient format, that is not a fault of the converter.

Convert iPhone HEIC Photos into Ordinary JPG Files
Convert HEIC to JPG online for free, with no sign-up: iPhone photos become ordinary JPG files that open on Windows and Android. A whole batch at once, right in your browser.
What the HEIC to JPG Converter Does
- Opens what Windows cannot — HEIC and HEIF files from any iPhone or iPad are decoded right in the browser, without extra codecs or apps
- The whole camera roll at once — select a hundred photos and they are all converted — there is no batch limit here
- Original resolution — nothing is downscaled or cropped; the JPG keeps the full size of the shot
- Photos stay private — your pictures are never sent to a server, which matters more for a camera roll than for anything else
How to Convert HEIC to JPG
- Add HEIC photos — click the drop zone or drag them in from Finder or Explorer.
- Or pick a picture you generated on Homiwork — your image archive is one click away.
- Pick the JPEG quality: 90% is a safe default, 100% keeps every detail for printing.
- Press “Convert to JPG” — each photo appears as a card and downloads as a normal .jpg file.
Why iPhone Photos Don't Open on Windows
Since iOS 11 an iPhone saves photos in HEIC — a container built on the HEVC codec that keeps roughly the same quality as JPEG in about half the space. On Apple devices it is invisible: photos open, edit and share as usual. Everything changes the moment the file travels somewhere else. Windows asks for a paid codec, many Android phones show a grey square, and web forms, printing services, marketplaces and government portals simply reject the file. That is why converting HEIC to JPG is the single most searched image conversion in the world — it is not a whim, it is the price of a format one ecosystem adopted early. This converter decodes HEIC directly in the browser using the same open library that image editors use, then redraws the photo as a JPG at the quality you choose. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is queued and nothing is watermarked. One thing worth knowing in advance: the JPG will usually be larger than the HEIC it came from, sometimes by half again. That is not a fault of the converter — JPEG is simply an older, less efficient way of storing the very same picture.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really free?
Yes — with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process at once. Converting costs us nothing because your browser does the work, so there is nothing to charge for.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser: the file is read, converted and downloaded on your own device, and never leaves it. That also means there are no queues, no daily limits and no waiting for an upload.
Why is the JPG bigger than the original HEIC?
Because HEIC uses a far more efficient codec. The same photo stored as JPEG typically takes 1.5 to 2 times more space. If size matters, lower the quality to 80% — the picture will still look clean and the file will shrink noticeably.
How do I stop my iPhone from shooting in HEIC?
Open Settings → Camera → Formats and choose “Most Compatible”. New photos will be saved as JPG, though the ones already in your library stay HEIC — those you can convert here.
Is there a limit on how many photos I can convert?
No. Add as many as you want in one go; they are processed one after another on your own device, so nothing is throttled.
Will the quality of the photo drop?
At 90–100% quality the difference is invisible. The resolution never changes, and no watermark is added.
